You guys remind us every day why we do what we do. I was here in 1991, and came back in after being out for 11 years, just because this is who I am, and this is what I believe in - Protecting those who are most precious to me. That includes my family, my friends, and anyone who thanks a Soldier for serving. We love you all. ~~SPC Clayton ------, Army, Houston
To my family in Columbia, SC, Especially my Fiancee Robin... I love you and I hope to see you all soon. Knowing you are waiting for me to come home makes a world of difference. ~~Specialist Jeffery C. ------, Columbia, S.C.
I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT. IT MEANS A LOT TO US. EVERY TIME I GET A CHANCE I READ ONE OF THE AMERICA SUPPORTS YOU MESSAGES AND IT GETS ME BY ONE MORE DAY. SO, THANK YOU AGAIN. ~~Phillip/SW2/US NAVY, HEALDTON, Okla.
Dear Billy and Kevin, I want you to know how much I Love and miss you! I think of you every minute of every day I am here in Iraq. Your pictures are in my hat, my helmet, on the windshield of the HMMWV I drive through Tikrit everyday and all over the walls of my CHU. I would also like to thank all the wonderful Americans who may not support the politicians, but never falter to let their Military personnel know they care. The packages we receive are like Christmas presents. I respond to everyone who puts a note in a box I get if they put ayway to contact them. email, snailmail, whatever. I thank you ALL!!!! ~~TSgt Bill ------/USAF, Johnston, R.I.
Thank you all for the support though I have been in Iraq for the past year and soon to be home I am eager to learn of the 'Freedom Walk' for 9/11 and veterans. I cannot wait to put that on my calendar and do that walk! ~~PFC ------, ARNG, Danbury, Conn.
Thanks to all of you for the wonderful letters, they keep us going over here. I want to thank all of you for the support, letters, and care packages as they make our life a little more bearable over here in the Middle East. You are the reason we are here doing what we have to do in order to assure that all have a chance at the quality of life that we have back home. From me and my squad thanks so very much for all you do to support us. ~~Stacy -----/SSG/Army, Harlem, Mont.
Dear Sir/Ma'am, I am writing to tell you, THANK YOU! I know everybody says thank us for serving. But I am now saying thank you. YOU truly are the driving force behind the US Armed forces. Without a wife, mom, dad, brother, sister, and friends. We don't have a reason to be here fighting. And it's because of all of you that we VOLUNTEER for this job. Well aware of the risks involved. I was in Iraq during the invasion of 2003, I went again to Iraq in 2005. I am currently stationed in Afghanistan for the year of 2007. And I would GLADLY do it all again to keep all of you safe. Sincerely, ~~SGT Brett A. -----, Army, Opelika, Alabam, N.C.
