Launched in mid-March the Roof Deployment Project has already identified 70 cities in 25 states in which homes for currently serving military service members and their families will be reroofed for free. An amazing statement of the partnership between Americans and their troops. That we will support them the way they support all of us. Articles will be posted as the military identifies the recipients and the re-roofs completed.

The Roof Deployment Project is a Patriotic Partner sponsorship between Support Our Troops®, roofing/insulation manufacturer Owens Corning®, and hundreds of all-American Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Roofing Contractors’ across America. Participating Owens Corning’s Platinum Preferred Contractors across America are providing free renovation services for military family homes in their local areas. Owens Corning is donating the materials. The estimated value of each roofing will be $10,000 to $15,000, depending on the size and condition of the particular structure. Other repairs can increase this.
